The MCAA General Assembly & Annual Conference
At the beginning of March Venice hosted the annual General Assembly and Conference of the Marie Curie Alumni Association (MCAA). The Ca’ Foscari University in Venice organized this international event. (MCAA conference).
This beautiful location allowed to meet a great number of researchers and public authorities representatives. Then discussions and talks about international cooperation and mobility of scientists represented the core of the day. Moreover, the latest projects financed under the MSCA Program gave updates on their progress. Finally, researchers followed short seminars, based on how to build Science-Business consortia and Partnerships or on strengthening communication skills.
ITER Project at MCAA General Assembly & Annual Conference in Venice
This international and interdisciplinary atmosphere favored to deal with colleagues and other young researchers, discovering other innovative projects. I remembered well, for example, the Bir Al-Nas Project. This research focuses on incorporating the social dimension into hydrogeochemical investigations for rural development. Really an interdisciplinary subject!
In this international atmosphere ITER Project took the opportunity to show its main aim and first outcomes.
Moreover, the Poster Session favored meeting others Marie Skłodowska Curie fellows, providing a wealth of examples of the work being done. It was a nice and fruitful experience, also for networking and start possible future cooperation action.
